Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade security controls, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and WAF solutions.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential exploits within our network.
- Lead incident response efforts, conducting forensic analysis and rapid containment of security breaches.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Develop automated scripts (Python/Bash) to enhance threat detection capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are strongly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in a senior engineering role.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Strong scripting skills in Python or similar languages.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
