Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced threat detection systems using SIEM tools like Splunk and ElasticSIEM
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop security automation frameworks using Python and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security-by-design principles in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering roles
- Expert knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CEH, or OSCP) required
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with security automation tools
- Proven track record in designing and implementing network security architectures
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and zero-trust frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
