Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures across cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling for high-value systems
- Develop and automate security monitoring solutions using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Incident response leadership, including forensic analysis and remediation coordination
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security best practices across engineering teams
- Collaborate with product teams to embed security into SDLC processes
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering roles
- Expert knowledge of NIST frameworks, CIS benchmarks, and compliance standards
- Professional certifications (CISSP, OSCP, or CISM) required
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and security automation tools
- Strong background in network security, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex security concepts to stakeholders
