Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis for security breaches
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop and execute security automation scripts using Python, Ansible, or Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security practices in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2 frameworks
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ years in security architecture
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent professional security certification
- Expert knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code proficiency
- Deep understanding of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex risks to technical/non-technical audiences
