Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR technologies
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop security automation solutions using Python and Ansible
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Respond to security incidents with rapid containment and forensic analysis
- Research emerging threats and recommend proactive countermeasures
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ in security engineering roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent advanced security certification
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Strong programming skills (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Proven track record of incident response and threat hunting
