Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security solutions including SIEM, EDR, and cloud security architectures
- Lead incident response for critical breaches, coordinating cross-functional teams
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop security automation using Python and Ansible for threat detection
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Research emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence programs
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security, network segmentation, and zero-trust models
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with automation tools
- Proven incident response handling with IRP development experience
- Deep knowledge of threat hunting methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with GRC platforms (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate)
- Ability to translate complex security concepts to executive stakeholders
