Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures including zero-trust frameworks and cloud-native security solutions
- Lead incident response operations for high-stakes security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across complex IT environments
- Develop and maintain security automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Mentor junior security engineers and establish security best practices across the organization
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering leadership roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent advanced security certification
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), network security, and application security
- Proven experience with SIEM implementation (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for security automation
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and IaC security
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
