Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response operations, including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python and Terraform
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across departments
- Collaborate with product teams to embed security-by-design principles
- Research emerging threats and contribute to open-source security projects
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on security engineering roles
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Proven track record of leading security incident responses
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts
