Responsibilities
- Design and deploy robust security frameworks including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security in CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and analyze threat intelligence
- Document security policies and procedures while maintaining compliance standards
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise security engineering roles
- Expert knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and zero-trust architectures
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required; GIAC certifications preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure
