Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response operations during security breaches, including forensic analysis and containment
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify system weaknesses
- Develop security automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices across engineering teams
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence analysis
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proven track record in incident response and threat hunting
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Rust for security automation
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Deep understanding of network protocols and zero-trust architectures
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
