Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security architectures including zero-trust frameworks and cloud-native security solutions
- Lead penetration testing initiatives and red team exercises to identify vulnerabilities
- Develop incident response protocols and coordinate cross-functional breach mitigation
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness across technical teams
- Research emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence databases
- Optimize SIEM/SOAR platforms for real-time threat detection and automation
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering leadership
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certifications required; CISM or CISA preferred
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration security
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and security automation tools
- Experience with penetration testing frameworks (Metasploit, Burp Suite)
- Demonstrated success in designing enterprise-grade security solutions
- Strong background in regulatory compliance and risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex security concepts to executives
