Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security frameworks across cloud, network, and application layers
- Lead incident response operations, including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop security automation tools using Python, Terraform, and cloud-native services
- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and threat intelligence
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture roles
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS/Azure security services and compliance frameworks
- CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Ansible, Splunk, ELK Stack)
- Experience with zero-trust architecture and SASE implementation
- Demonstrated success in building scalable security programs
- Strong background in cloud-native security and container security
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate risks to technical/non-technical audiences
