Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Lead incident response efforts, conducting forensic analysis and rapid containment to minimize downtime.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses before malicious actors exploit them.
- Manage and optimize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to detect and analyze security events.
- Develop automated security scripts (Python/Bash) to enhance operational efficiency and threat detection.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Conduct security awareness training and drive a culture of vigilance across the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or systems administration.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification is highly preferred.
- Deep expertise in network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container security (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Experience with threat hunting frameworks and malware analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
