Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security frameworks including zero-trust architecture and cloud-native security solutions
- Lead incident response operations, coordinating cross-functional teams during security breaches
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on complex systems
- Develop and enforce security policies aligned with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and GDPR compliance
- Automate security monitoring workflows using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and SOAR tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Research emerging threats and recommend proactive defense strategies
- Mentor security analysts and junior engineers through knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture/engineering
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or equivalent practical experience
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in network security, application security, and identity/access management
- Experience with security automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python scripting)
- Demonstrated success in leading incident response and threat hunting
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
