Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures for hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident response investigations and develop mitigation strategies
- Automate security workflows using CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop security automation solutions for threat detection and response
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security culture across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 4+ years in security engineering
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Strong programming skills (Python, Go, or Terraform)
- CI/CD security integration experience with Jenkins/GitLab
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or OSCP)
- Proven experience in incident response and threat hunting
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Ability to translate complex security concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
