Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures including SIEM, EDR, and network segmentation solutions
- Lead incident response coordination for complex security breaches using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Mentor junior security engineers through technical training and hands-on guidance
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps practices
- Represent security in quarterly stakeholder meetings with executive leadership
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in leadership roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong programming skills in Python or Go for security automation
- Proven track record of designing Zero Trust architectures
- Experience with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
