Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures including zero-trust frameworks, cloud security, and network segmentation
- Lead incident response operations for critical security breaches, coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on complex systems
- Develop security automation tools and scripts to enhance threat detection capabilities
- Mentor junior security engineers and establish best practices across the organization
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate security-by-design principles into development lifecycles
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in senior roles
- Expert knowledge of AWS/Azure security services, SIEM platforms, and IDS/IPS systems
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Proven experience leading security incident response and forensic investigations
- Strong programming skills in Python or Go for security automation
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR)
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud-native architectures
