Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external systems.
- Monitor security alerts through SIEM platforms and lead investigations into potential security breaches.
- Design and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform threat hunting to identify and neutralize hidden risks before they can be exploited.
- Manage incident response procedures and conduct post-incident reviews to improve defense mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Strong technical knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
