Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud, network, and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and containment procedures
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
- Mentor junior engineers and champion security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or operations
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security fundamentals
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF)
