Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis for security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Establish security metrics and KPIs for continuous improvement
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering roles
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with security automation and orchestration tools
- Proven track record of leading security incident response
