Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures including zero-trust frameworks and cloud security solutions
- Lead incident response operations, conducting forensic analysis and developing mitigation strategies for complex breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain security automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Mentor security operations team on emerging threats and defensive techniques
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Present security posture reports to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field with 7+ years of security engineering experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification
- Expertise in cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container security
- Proven experience leading incident response for complex security breaches
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Advanced scripting skills in Python and experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
