Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
- Conduct proactive threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and lead breach investigations
- Optimize security automation tools and integrate SIEM platforms
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
- Present security findings to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering roles
- Expert knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container security
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for security automation
- Experience with cloud-native security tools (e.g., WAF, CSPM, CNAPP)
- Demonstrated success in reducing security incidents by 40%+
