Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation
- Develop and maintain security automation tools using Python, Terraform, and Ansible
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ years in engineering roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required; GIAC preferred
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Experience with IAM, PKI, and zero-trust architectures
- Proven track record of reducing security posture gaps by 30%+
