Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust solutions
- Lead incident response activities for security breaches and conduct thorough forensic investigations
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python and Ansible
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior security professionals and establish department security best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend strategic security improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on network and application security
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expert knowledge of AWS/Azure security services and cloud security architecture
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, CrowdStrike, Qualys, and Burp Suite
- Strong background in threat hunting and SIEM correlation analysis
- Experience with secure coding practices and application security testing
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
