Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
- Lead incident response for security breaches and conduct forensic investigations
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering/architecture
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required; AWS/GCP Security certifications preferred
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong programming skills (Python, Go, or Bash) for automation
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Deep understanding of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Proven track record in designing secure network architectures
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional leadership
