Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud, network, and application layers
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python/Ansible
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture/engineering
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and zero-trust models
- Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, or CCSP required; CISM preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM (Splunk/Symantec), EDR, and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong programming skills in Python or Go for security automation
- Proven track record of leading security transformation projects
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate risks to non-technical stakeholders
