Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response activities, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation
- Develop and maintain security automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching and applying threat intelligence
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote security best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on engineering and operations
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or CCSP strongly preferred
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Ability to write secure code in Python or Go for automation tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to thrive under pressure during incidents
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
