Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architectures for cloud and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response efforts including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation
- Develop and maintain security automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing of critical systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expert-level knowledge of network security, SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar), and IDS/IPS systems
- Proven experience with security automation and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong background in threat modeling, vulnerability management, and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native solutions
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
