Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for complex cloud and hybrid environments
- Develop incident response playbooks and coordinate cross-functional breach investigations
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR) through continuous monitoring
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct security awareness training for technical staff
- Research emerging threats and propose innovative detection mechanisms
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in architectural security design
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code security
- Demonstrated success in leading security incident response engagements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
