Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures including zero-trust frameworks and cloud security models
- Lead security assessments, penetration testing, and risk mitigation strategies
- Develop security automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct threat modeling for new products and major system updates
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (CIS, NIST)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in architecture design
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or CCSP with active credentials
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong programming skills (Python preferred) and automation experience
- Deep knowledge of network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with SIEM implementation (Splunk, QRadar)
- Proven track record of leading complex security transformation projects
- Excellent communication skills for executive stakeholder reporting
