Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM, EDR, and network security tools
- Lead incident response operations for complex cyberattacks, including APT investigations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, playbooks, and compliance frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in security operations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on security operations
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Gold certification required
- Expert-level proficiency in Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, or equivalent tools
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence methodologies
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services and container security
- Strong communication skills for executive reporting and stakeholder management
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
