Responsibilities
- Lead Research Initiatives: Design, develop, and implement novel algorithms for autonomous systems and deep learning applications.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Publication & IP: Author high-impact research papers for top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICRA, etc.) and secure patents for proprietary technologies.
- Prototype Development: Translate theoretical research into working prototypes and proof-of-concepts rapidly.
- Technical Strategy: Consult with product management to align R&D roadmaps with market needs and business goals.
- Data Analysis: Utilize large-scale datasets to train, validate, and optimize machine learning models.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Robotics.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python, C++, and CUDA; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous, high-complexity engineering challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
