Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end research initiatives in advanced AI/ML methodologies from conceptualization to prototype development
- Design and implement novel algorithms for complex data analysis, pattern recognition, and predictive modeling
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research findings into scalable production-ready solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR)
- Secure and manage research grants through compelling proposals and technical documentation
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an environment of intellectual curiosity
- Stay current with emerging AI trends through continuous literature review and experimentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier ML/AI conferences and journals
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and distributed computing
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and R with experience in large-scale data processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience securing research funding and managing academic-industry collaborations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to tackle ambiguous, open-ended research challenges
