Responsibilities
- Design and execute cutting-edge experiments in neural signal processing and machine learning
- Lead interdisciplinary R&D teams comprising neuroscientists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop novel algorithms for real-time brain data interpretation and control systems
- Secure and manage federal grants and private funding for advanced research projects
- Collaborate with clinical partners to translate research into therapeutic applications
- Publish findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in lab methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Neuroscience, Computational Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in electrophysiology, neuroimaging, or neural signal processing
- Strong programming skills (Python, MATLAB) with experience in machine learning frameworks
- Demonstrated success in securing NIH grants or equivalent funding
- Publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Neuron)
- Experience with FDA-regulated medical device development a plus
