Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze complex experimental protocols in materials science and electrochemistry
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects from concept through prototype development
- Develop and optimize novel battery materials and manufacturing processes
- Author technical reports, patents, and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior scientists and manage project timelines/budgets
- Collaborate with external partners and academic institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of industrial R&D experience with battery technology
- Expertise in electrochemical characterization techniques (EIS, CV, galvanostatic cycling)
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals
- Proficiency with advanced analytical tools (SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS)
- Track record of translating lab-scale innovations to commercial applications
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
