Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze cutting-edge experiments in sustainable materials science
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects from ideation through prototype development
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research findings into scalable solutions
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies through literature reviews and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of innovation and scientific rigor
- Develop intellectual property strategies and contribute to patent applications
- Present research findings to stakeholders and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on R&D experience in industrial or academic settings
- Proven track record of developing novel materials or processes
- Expertise in advanced characterization techniques (SEM, XRD, FTIR)
- Strong statistical analysis and experimental design skills
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Asana)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Published research in high-impact journals preferred
