Responsibilities
- Lead experimental design and execution in advanced material synthesis protocols
- Develop and validate novel methodologies for sustainable polymer production
- Analyze complex datasets using Python/R and machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and test new formulations
- Author technical documentation, patents, and peer-reviewed publications
- Present findings at industry conferences and stakeholder meetings
- Mentor junior researchers and optimize laboratory workflows
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of industry R&D experience with polymer chemistry focus
- Proficiency in analytical techniques (SEM, TEM, FTIR, DSC)
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals
- Experience with DOE methodologies and statistical analysis tools
- Validated track record of patent contributions
- Demonstrated project management in cross-functional settings
