Responsibilities
- Lead Experimental Design: Conceptualize and execute complex research experiments to validate novel technologies.
- Data Analysis: Utilize advanced statistical methods and programming to interpret experimental results and derive actionable insights.
- Intellectual Property: Draft technical reports and patents to protect the company’s innovations.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, product) to translate research findings into commercial products.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior scientists and research assistants in best practices and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral research experience in a relevant industry or academic setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB; experience with lab automation equipment.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated history of troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
