Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of complex R&D projects from conceptualization to prototyping.
- Design and execute advanced material characterization experiments using SEM, XRD, and spectroscopy.
- Synthesize novel composite materials to meet rigorous performance and sustainability benchmarks.
- Analyze multi-dimensional data sets to optimize material properties and manufacturing scalability.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of technical excellence and creative problem-solving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing product lines.
- Document research findings and present technical roadmaps to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related physical science discipline.
- 5+ years of industry experience in advanced research and development roles.
- Proven expertise in polymer chemistry, thin-film deposition, or nanotechnology.
- Deep understanding of materials characterization techniques and data analysis software (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Strong track record of peer-reviewed publications or patent filings in relevant fields.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on statistical rigor and experimental design.
