Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vitals and clinical status with precision.
- Administer life-saving medications and interventions in critical situations.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment including ventilators and hemodynamic monitors.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and assist in departmental onboarding processes.
- Maintain strictly compliant patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to act decisively under pressure.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a diverse, multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
