Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and interpret complex diagnostic test results.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and utilize advanced life-support equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists.
- Maintain precise electronic medical records and documentation.
- Act as a patient advocate and provide empathetic support to families during critical moments.
- Participate in clinical staff meetings and evidence-based practice committees.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, CCU, or high-acuity critical care.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (or ability to obtain).
- Exceptional critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as per rotation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team collaboration.
