Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret diagnostic data to adjust treatment plans.
- Administer complex medications and intravenous therapies with precision.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with hospital standards.
- Provide critical emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and dialysis machines.
- Participate in emergency response teams and code blue situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PCCN/CCRN certification strongly preferred.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency with Cerner or Epic EHR platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
