Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists.
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry, hemodynamic data, and ventilator settings with precision.
- Provide empathetic support and clear communication to patients and their families during critical care transitions.
- Execute complex treatment plans and administer life-sustaining medications per protocol.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and assist in departmental clinical training initiatives.
- Maintain impeccable electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in high-stress medical emergencies.
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred).
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient advocacy.
