Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer complex medications and intravenous treatments in a critical care setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Operate and monitor advanced life-support systems and diagnostic equipment.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and clinical quality standards.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and assist in clinical orientation processes.
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or high-acuity unit.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN certification highly preferred).
- Strong clinical judgment and crisis management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably Epic.
