Beacon Heights Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Registered Nurse (RN) to join our world-class Intensive Care Unit team. Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs and interpreting complex telemetry data.
- Administer advanced life support and specialized medications under physician direction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists to optimize care plans.
- Execute meticulous documentation in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
- Serve as a clinical mentor and preceptor for junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Provide empathetic education and support to patients' families during high-stress medical crises.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to function calmly and effectively in emergency clinical scenarios.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaborative communication.
- Proficiency in modern healthcare informatics and EHR software platforms.
