Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients with complex medical needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, intensivists, and respiratory therapists.
- Monitor patient vital signs and interpret complex data to anticipate clinical changes.
- Administer life-saving medications and manage advanced mechanical ventilation systems.
- Act as a mentor and clinical resource for junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, ethics, and patient advocacy.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications are mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Proficiency with digital healthcare management systems (Epic experience preferred).
