Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (or eligibility to obtain within 90 days).
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree strongly preferred.
