Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
- Manage complex ventilator settings, hemodialysis, and advanced cardiac monitoring systems.
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) and ensure adherence to all clinical protocols.
- Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to optimize patient recovery trajectories.
- Maintain a sterile environment and uphold strict safety standards to prevent hospital-acquired complications.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care environment.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environments.
- Exceptional communication skills and a deep commitment to patient advocacy.
- BSN degree preferred, though ADN with extensive relevant experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in modern healthcare information systems and patient monitoring software.
