Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Operate and interpret data from complex life-support systems and ventilators.
- Communicate effectively with families to provide education and emotional support.
- Maintain sterile environments and follow strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop individualized care plans.
- Triage patients and respond rapidly to emergency changes in patient status.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive in high-stress, emergency situations.
- Advanced proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
