Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients with complex medical needs.
- Administer advanced medications and maintain life-support equipment with precision.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and specialists to implement care plans.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and respond rapidly to changes in patient vitals.
- Provide empathetic emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with safety standards.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in unit clinical audits.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proven ability to operate advanced telemetry and ventilation equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
